I am running my program written in Labview 6.1, that includes communication with 2 Labjacks U12, without problems under WIN XP pro. The Labview code seems to run under WIN 7 pro as well, but the executable will constantly give errors coming from the Labjack VIs (EAnalogIN, EDigitalIN, etc.). I installed Labjack driver vers. 1.21 on all computers. Is there an issue with Labjack drivers for Labview under the different Windows versions?

Any help appreciated,

Sylvester

No known or expected problems, so we will need to troubleshoot your specifics.

What errors do you see and how often?

What if you right-click and do "run as administrator", rather than just running normally?

If you run the source in LabVIEW, rather than the executable, do you see the same errors?  Sounds like you are saying no.

the executable already runs as administrator.

Labjacks are called using ID 1 and 2 by EanalogIN and EDigitalIN every few seconds and by EAnalogOUT every minute or so. Under Labview, no problems or error messages (XP or 7). Also no problems with the executable under XP, but obviously loss of communication (all values 0) with one of the Labjacks when running the executable under WIN 7.

Do they work at all in the exe, or does every call return an error?

What is the first errorcode you get back?

Do the sample applications like LJlogger.exe and LJconfig.exe work?  They use LVRTE 6.0.2.
