U6 and RS485

Hi, I'm new here and trying to use LabJack U6 for controlling a mass flow controller which uses digital RS485 protocol. Simple search didn't yield much for me to digest on this topic. Any pointers or links would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

You need line drivers and receivers to convert the RS485 to CMOS/TTL, then you use the Asynch functions available on the U6.  The following topic looks good for you:
