I have a U3-HV device with the LJ-Tick output voltage amplifier.

This unit controls 2 separate BLDC motor drives simultaneously (it's perfectly suited for that).

However, I need to enable a watchdog such that if the device is not communicated with over USB for some TBD period, it does the following:

- Sets the output voltage of the 2 original DAC lines (DAC0 and DAC1) to zero

- Sets the output voltage of the 2 LJTick lines (FIO4 and FIO5) to zero

It's unclear from the documentation if this is possible, or if so, how.  Can you suggest a call sequence?

Thank you,

- Pete

Yes,

This is possible, you must enable the watchdog and set the power up defaults of the DAC + FIO lines.

You can do this in code, or using LJControlPanel.  In LJControlPanel, you click on the device in the device tree, and then use the "Config. Defaults" grey button.  On this defaults screen, enable the watchdog, and set a timeout + response.  The defaults screen also has options to set the analog outputs to a specified voltage, and the FIO state/direction.  When finished, click the "Write Values" button to save the changes.

Hope this helps
