Labjack, Matlab and U3, parameter description

Dear all,


I am using U3 with matlab using MATLAB .NET interface and the UD .NET assembly. The example codes run fine on my computer. However to understand the examples and modify it to my own project, I am looking for the documentation of the input output parameters.


For example

ljudObj.AddRequest(ljhandle, LabJack.LabJackUD.IO.ADD_STREAM_CHANNEL_DIFF, 1, 0, 32, 0);


Where can I find to which 1, 0, 32 and 0 refer to in this particular function. This is just an example, my question is general `where can I find the specific inputs for functions´.

First look at Sections 4.1 and 4.2.5:





From these you realize that:


Channel=1  //The channel you are operating on.

Value=0      //Value does not matter because you are using a read iotype.


UserData=0  //A parameter for you.  See Section 4.1.


Based on the iotype you are using, channel and value are pretty obvious, but what is x1 for?  Whenever x1 has meaning, it will be noted in Section 4.3.  In this case you are doing something related to analog inputs, so you look at Section 4.3.3 and it says that x1 specifies the negative channel for this differential analog input iotype:




To understand more about negative channels for a differential analog input, look at the analog input hardware docs in Section 2.6:
