Newbie to LabJack, I have the U3-HV and am trying to connect via Matlab.  In stepping through the sample code, u3_simple.m and create the NET.Assembly, set the chanType value, query the UD driver version (3.35), the use the command " ljudObj.OpenLabJack(LabJack.LabJackUD.DEVICE.U3, LabJack.LabJackUD.CONNECTION.USB, '0', true, 0);" I get the following error:

Message: Error in the application.
Source: LJUDDotNet

It creates a variable with the NET.Exception.  Contents are:

    ExceptionObject: [1x1 LabJack.LabJackUD.LabJackUDException]
         identifier: 'MATLAB:NET:CLRException:MethodInvoke'
message: 'Message: Error in the application.
Source: LJUDDotNet
HelpLink: '

Other info:  Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, Matlab 2012a 64 bit.

Grateful for any help.

You will want to catch and display the LabJackUDException like in the examples to get a useful error message. The showErrorMessage.m file shows how to get the error string from LabJackUDException.
