Is it possible to use an EI-1050 probe and also configure a counter on the U3 ?

I have the EI-1050 connected to the default pins FIO 4, 5, 7.

I'm trying to configure a counter using EIO0 with TimerCounterPinOffset=8 and TimerMode=2 so that I can measure the period of an anemometer.

I cannot find a way to get both to function together.

Yes, what you describe sounds fine.  What problem are you having?  What are you using for software?
