LABJACK U3 and Digital Accelerometer

I need to get acceleration data out of four digital accelerometers ADXL 345 http://www.analog.co.../ADXL345-EP.pdf

I have a LABJACK U3. I need the final data on my PC in form of Time v/s Acceleration ( different accelerometers on different channels)

How do I do it ?

Looks like the chip supports SPI or I2C. I would suggest you try SPI first, as that is a simpler protocol. If you are not familiar about SPI in general, start by reading about it:


Then look at the ADXL345 datasheet to figure out what bytes you need to write and read to do what you want.
