I just wanted to check - when the U12 acquires data in burst mode is the resolution 12 bits? I ask because in the U6 hardware timed acquisition only returns 8-bit data. Is there any such limitation in the U12?

The no-missing-code resolution of the U12 drops to 11 bits in burst mode:

The U6 maintains 16-bit resolution in stream mode.

Here are a couple of app notes about resolution:

Ah, my fault. I misinterpreted this:
"Stream mode is not supported on the hi-res converter (resolutions 9-12 not supported in stream)"

That's good news as I'd actually prefer 16-bit resolution.
