change state of FIO

iím trying to work with profilab expert 4.0 and labjack U3-HV. What is unclear to me is how can i change state of FIO port from output-low to input-low using profilab. Anyone can help ? thank you

We don't have an specific Profilab experience, but can provide some general help. The 3 states for digital I/O are output-high, output-low, and input. To set a line to output-high or output-low, you generally just do some sort of digital output command with the specified state (high or low). For example, when you use our UD driver function eDO and specify the state, the direction is also forced to output. To set a line to input, you generally do any type of read. For example, when your use our UD driver function eDI to read the state of a line, the direction is also forced to input.

applying a +5V or 0V on that pin does the job?
