I need to use the Tri State ability of the U12 LabJack. I need to be able to set pins to Output-High, Output-Low, and Input(High Impedance). I've been looking at DigitalIO Example.vi and don't really understand how to take advantage of the states. A detailed description of how to route each of these three options to the digital pins of the labjack(whether IO or D) would be greatly appreciated.

If the applicable bit of trisD is 0, then that bit is input.

If the applicable bit of trisD is 1, and the applicable bit of stateD is 0, then that bit is output-low.

If the applicable bit of trisD is 1, and the applicable bit of stateD is 1, then that bit is output-high.
